For Limited Partners
Institutional memoryfor private markets.
Every GP diligenced, every deal seen, every document received: clean records your firm owns, built for due diligence, asset pricing and benchmarking.
15 minutes on a live database built from real fund documents.
The problem
Your capital compounds. Your knowledge doesn't.
GPs have the information advantage. LP Dossier is how you take it back: the documents you already receive, turned into the database that gives you the edge.
A treasure trove, unused
Deal flow brings data every day: data rooms, track records, quarterly reports. Insight from hundreds of diligenced GPs ends up forgotten on a shared drive or in someone's head.
LP Dossier
Your data advantage
Every document you receive becomes validated rows in a database your firm owns. The archive becomes your information advantage.
Vendors sell everyone the same data
Preqin, PitchBook and Mergermarket resell what's public: high-level, outdated and identical on your competitors' screens.
LP Dossier
Proprietary by definition
Your internal Preqin, PitchBook and Mergermarket, built from documents your firm received. Nobody else can buy this dataset.
Every data room is a sales pitch
Different templates, cherry-picked numbers, gloss. Getting to the truth means rebuilding the numbers in a spreadsheet, every time.
LP Dossier
A truth layer you own
One clean record for each GP, fund, deal and asset, comparable on the same basis, sitting between you and their sales pitch.
Knowledge walks out the door
Referencing past deals means asking whoever worked on them, or digging through years of folders. When people leave, the firm forgets.
LP Dossier
Persistent institutional memory
Any analyst can pull up any GP, deal or document in seconds, instead of hunting for the one person who remembers. The knowledge stays when people leave, and it compounds the firm's value.
The solution
From data room to database
01
Drop in the documents
Drag in whole data rooms, quarterly reports, track-record sheets, IC memos. No tagging, no templates: LP Dossier's AI classifies and extracts.
02
Approve against the source
Every extracted value links to its source: the exact page, the exact spot, highlighted. Clean values approve in batches; anything doubtful is flagged and handled one by one.
03
Query what you own
GP, fund, and LP profiles. A precedent-transaction screener. Comp sets with median and quartile multiples, charted and exported to Excel for the IC deck, benchmarking and much more.
Solutions for Limited Partners
Everything LP Dossier does with the archive you already hold, from data room to IC deck.

Why we're different
Nobody can sell you this database.
Every GP you ever diligenced, including the ones you passed on. That data doesn't exist outside your walls, at any price.
AI adoption, done properly
LP Dossier's AI reads every page and proposes each value with its confidence and its source; nothing enters the database without human sign-off. A working answer to the board's AI question, in a form compliance can approve.
Built by private markets investors
Not a data vendor: built by investment professionals who spent countless hours inside the data rooms this product reads.
AI that shows its work
LP Dossier's AI proposes each value; your team approves it against the highlighted page. Its accuracy is tested against documents a person has checked by hand.

Frequently asked questions
Who is this for?+
Allocators who receive GP documents: funds of funds, secondaries funds, pension plans, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, foundations and endowments. If the numbers GPs send you end up living in one analyst's spreadsheet, this is for you.
What happens in a demo?+
Fifteen minutes on a live database built from real fund documents. You watch one document go from upload to approved rows, then see what the screeners and comp sets do with them.
What documents does it read?+
Whole data rooms as GPs send them: quarterly reports, track-record sheets, capital account statements, IC memos. PDF, Excel, Word and many others. No templates, no tagging; LP Dossier's AI classifies and extracts on its own.
We already pay for Preqin or PitchBook. Why this?+
Those vendors resell what is already public: high-level, often outdated, and identical on your competitors' screens. This is the database only your firm can have: built from the documents GPs sent you, including deal-level track records on funds you passed on, which no vendor has at any price.
Can the AI get numbers wrong?+
Yes. That is why nothing enters the database without a reviewer's sign-off. Extraction proposes each value with a citation to the exact page and spot; clean values are approved in batches against the highlighted page, and anything doubtful is flagged and handled one by one.
How is our data handled?+
Documents are copied into isolated per-client storage in the EU and used solely to serve your instance. Nothing you upload trains shared models or is visible to anyone else. Where a mandate requires it, an in-tenant deployment inside your own environment is available.
What happens if we leave?+
You keep the database. Export everything at any time; portability is a contractual guarantee. If the software goes away, your data does not.
What does it cost?+
Design-partner pilots are currently free. Production pricing is per-firm, not per-seat.
